"I needed a place to stay unexpectedly in downtown Toronto and this is exactly what I needed, very easy to check in check out cleanliness excellent sleep"
"I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. I can’t recall the last time I had a hotel room that made me want to stay inside all day, but this one did. Splurge and do it. "

"I will start by saying that I’m likely outside of the target demographic for this hotel by a decade or more. This hotel seems to be aimed at serving a younger and more hip community than I am currently a part of at 40 years of age. However, the comfort, cleanliness, design, and water pressure at this property rival most of its four-star contemporaries. The bed was firm, the pillows were full, and every space was impeccably clean. There was a water bottle refill station on each floor so that no one (young or old) went into their day or night dehydrated. The vibe of the lobby was friendly, fun, and funky. I wish I had booked a stay for longer! "
"Enjoyed how close we were to Union Station and the Subway as we were attending the National Bank Tennis. Loved that we could leave our luggage in a secure place the next day and spend time in TO. The Ritual cafe and the Bistro in the hotel, very nice! Great atmosphere, good food and pleasant helpful staff. A Keurig coffee maker with several pods would have made it perfect rather than the type that was there. Overall, a very pleasant experience as always! We will be back! "
"Great central hotel in downtown Toronto making everything very accessible.
Hotel was clean, well kept and our room really spacious.
Staff were excellent!"
"I had issues with my room due to the AC not working, the staff was amazing and went beyond making sure myself and my daughter was comfortable as she is special needs. All staff members were so kind and caring toward my daughter and also was so supportive and kind. I highly recommend this hotel and will be vack in the coming future."
"Very noisy, only because the design of the doors . Need to install easy closing mechanism. The are very loud slamming all hours of the night / day . Pillows are also substandard. Overall hotel is great in a prime location but I would not stay again until the doors are fixed "
