"Be wary when handing over a cash security deposit. I checked out early before reception was open. Called them about the security deposit and they said they'd return the security deposit onto my card or bank transfer it. I flew out of Townsville thinking my security deposit would be refunded that day. I called them up after flying home to confirm the return of my security deposit. A different girl answered the phone & said they can't return cash. They would hold my money in a client account at the Motel for next time I come back & stay. They've gone against what they told me. Is this even legal? I'm not returning to Townsville. Was there briefly for a family funeral. I'm waiting on the manager to call me back and sort this out. They said she's busy with meetings and could take 3 days. I said I'd be calling tomorrow. Hopefully this should be sorted out."

"The pool and the pinball games were just so much fun, we cannot wait to visit again. Clean, well equipped home with excellent cooling commensurate to Townsville weather and beautiful, large established trees in the garden. Easy, friendly communication with the host (Jason) - expectations well and truly exceeded. One of our all time favourites :)"

Liked having the pool to use Large dining area, cleanliness in kitchen/eating area could have been better - maybe have a ckeaner empliyed rather than relying on occupants to mop floor erc. Bathroom facilities adequate but again could be regularly cleaned.cleaning. Out of your control - but other occupants not having any regard for others in same room - sorm a real clutter everyone's things all speead out - maybe less beds in room so storage areas more defined."

"Very unclean, mould in kitchen, bedroom cupboards and drawers. People smoking on balconies. Otherwise ok but this time not worth the money unfortunately. "

"I have to say that i felt so unwelcoming here this time. Like i was a hassle to deal with.. Maybe as i was not dressed in finery. And had been rather flustered trying to find a place to park my motorhome so i could check in. They seemed to really struggle with the bare niceties. Like i was not up to their standards.. I Struggled bringing my luggage in. Yet not 1 person from staff offered to help. They literally just watched me fumble doors open with my hands full.. On my departure, i had requested a late check out when i booked. And asked if it had been granted or not.. but received no replies at all. So i was late checking out. Male staff member was much friendlier than the female and actually brought the luggage trolley up for me. I did ask for it . And again, they stood behind the desk and proceeded to watch me make a fool out of myself trying to get through the doors with an over loaded trolley.. A gentleman who walked in saw me and instantly helped me squeeze out of rhe lobby door"
