"I've stayed at the A Bang Resort before. It has a quiet great beachfront location - but on this visit there were major renovations underway. And I mean MAJOR! To be fair the hotel, let me know beforehand. Winter storms destroyed much of the beach last year, so to be fair the local government is undertaking a major beach reconstruction. In the short term, this is a problem (as there is no beach but massive sand dunes with cranes, trucks and diggers) but it should be finished in a few months as the work will be slowly move up the beach. The staff did the best they could under the situation which was further complicated by early rains - and the road flooding up in front of the hotel! So, great resort with garden and hopefully beach. It has 3 swimming pools. Beach bar. Wonderful staff and spa."

"The property is very big and spacious with several buildings and open grounds and gardens, a large pool and its own spa. The breakfast buffet was great with so many local and continental options to choose from. The room was clean and had all the amenities but everything is just a little run down. The property could definitely use a renovation to be up to the 4-star standards it claims to offer. We had a few other issues: the curtains did not close completely nor was their material blackout, so light did pour into the room at sunrise. Also the street is very noisy in the mornings since there is a school nearby and we woke up every morning to the sound of screaming children. Likewise, the corridors within the hotel echo loudly so we could hear everyone passing by outside our room. Some sound-proofing is definitely needed for the rooms. Despite these drawbacks the hotel’s location is great. It’s on a less busy street just outside of the Old Town (a much calmer area than near the river!!). Accessible to cars (since some streets are pedestrian only which is very inconvenient with luggage). Right next to the Hoi An museum. Walking distance to Old Town and the sites to be seen there. Nearby custom-making tailors and leather-workers. Overall, the property is nice but with a little renovation it has the potential to be absolutely wonderful."

"The Sweet Daisy Retreat was so good we extended our stay❤️we had initially booked for 3 nights and then extended for a further three. Fabulous staff, great ambience and wonderful relaxed area directly on the beach. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is lovely and the staff is very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out. Even preparing us a breakfast to go as we had to leave for the airport before the breakfast opened at 7. We stayed in the family room which was lovely for the 4 of us. The only draw back is the pool. It’s nice that it’s covered but there isn’t great loungers around the pool as it’s a tight space. Other than that everything was great at the hotel."

"This is a very budget friendly hotel and was an excellent stay in An Bang. It’s a quiet street just a few steps from the bars and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent."

"There was a heat warning when we stayed and the villa was comfortable and pool amazing. Close to beach which was quieter than other beaches. I would stay again. Lovely family run villa. Rooms clean with AC. Only been open one year. Closeto Hoi An and other sights."

"The quiet beachside location was just what we needed after spending time in the bigger cities. Local restaurants were fantastic, well priced and right outside the hotel entrance. The staff were absolutely amazing esp the receptionist. Always smiling, knowledgeable and willing to help. The pool waa great it is a good size and very well maintained. We spent alot of time using it. The only negative was the construction work being done on the beach. There was no direct beach access. We were not previously advised. Would thoroughly recommend the Sea'lavie to all. We will be booking in again next year."
