"Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. The venison pie was outstanding. Opting for something more healthy my wife and I chose the porridge with local honey the first morning and repeated the same on our second day breakfast because it is excellent. They have ample parking which was nice that we didn't have to worry about finding a spot on return when coming and going. "

"would give 4 1/2 stars, room was comfortable, lean and well presented. drop 1/2 a mark as tile loose in bathroom floor and no where to put shampoo bottles inside shower. had to drop on floor. otherwise lovely stay breakfast was excellent but no pastries left when we were in breakfast room."

"We stayed at Beechfield House Hotel from 21st May to 24th May 2025 and had a wonderful relaxing break. Our room was beautiful, featuring French doors and a balcony with stunning views over the pool and gardens - the perfect spot to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. A special mention goes to Elaine, whose warmth and friendliness made us feel more like old friends than guests. We were lucky with the weather and took full advantage of the hotel's heated outdoor pool, spending hours swimming and lounging in the sun. It was exactly the escape we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight - freshly cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. If we hadn't already booked our next hotel, we would have happily extended our stay. Beechfield House is a true hidden gem, and we're already looking forward to booking our next stay. "The hotel is located inside the pub. I was one of the attic rooms and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The Sunday roast is well worth it. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. My room was a twin bedroom. It was fine but there was no floor length mirror. The mirror on the dressing table you could manoeuvre but you couldn’t see your full outfit. The mattresses need to be changed. Although I slept really well, the mattress was very lumpy with a firm impression on one side. The bathroom does need some updating. The shower, although was very good, you couldn’t see how to turn it off. I spent ages trying to turn it off as the instructions were not visible enough to see. The bath needs reselling and the flooring replaced. The breakfast is good value and the service is excellent. Everyone I met in the pub was friendly and hospitable. "
