Wonderful room. Shower was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Great night's stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The workers were very helpful with answering any questions I had. Breakfast was great with many different options. Location was perfectly central to all the major Almaty touristy spots. One thing I want to address is there’s a club next to the hotel that plays music til 4am and you can hear it if you’re on that side of the building so request to be on the park side to avoid the sound. Overall, great hotel

Great location in the center of the city. Staff is very accommodating and rooms are clean.

I chose this hotel based on other reviewers' comments. The only thing that puzzled me about the comments were those about the "weird" bathroom setup. I found it quite neat! The room was spacious and immaculately kept. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff spoke English and were quite helpful. There were many English-language television stations (not that I watched that much TV, but I did check.) I did not try the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. I found two restaurants with...

I was impressed with entire sstaff. They were very helpful completely responsive to my needs. I highly recommend both because of location and staff

Hotel is clean, and staff are accommodating .

Good location not far from airport.

Living in another part of Kazakhstan it is difficult to comprehend how they pull off even the basics that make this hotel great.

I needed a hotel for 16 hours as I waited for a second flight from the airport. I know the Tien Shan from meetings we had held there when I lived in Almaty but I had never stayed there. The staff were extremely nice (and speak English). The hotel is a renovated one and I suspect at one time was Soviet-era with broad hallways and a nice lobby. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and, it being January, warm. The hotel is in the midst of "downtown" Almaty with restaurants, groceries and...

My second time staying at the Almaty Hotel, and I'll definitely stay there again. Located downtown in walking distance to all the main attractions, the hotel has a great vibe. Best of all are the stunning mountain views, especially from the suites on the upper floors. The breakfast buffet, which was very good last year, is improved, and there's a new coffee shop now on the first floor. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. Most know some English, and will call a colleague with excellent...

This used to be one of the best hotels in the city and the reception area is quite impressive, but the room however was a bit tired. Old furniture and stains in the wall are common, but I got an excellent rate on hotels.com so I can't complaint. The location and the view from my window were great. Internet was very good. Some staff speak English and I loved the coffee place in the lobby, the food there was particular good, as was the excellent breakfast. Late check out was restrict; although the...

Good hotel. Big rooms. excellent breakfast and staff. beautiful swimming pool and sauna. the tv was old and small for the size of the room.

Excellent

Hi. That was a problem with the payment. My payment did not get when I arrived to the hotel, but despite this I was moved in the room.
