"quirky hotel with lovely views ( ours was over the Tyne we watched the DFDS ferry come in. Large windows. Large room ( junior suite 201) The room was a little dated but we didn't mind because it was clean and had a bath- a great addition for after cold water swimming. Electric heater- simple and efficient."

"Stopped off on my trip from midlands to Scotland late last minute decision this hotel came up when I looked for somewhere to stay it was a little basic but very clean and comfortable staff were helpful, I had a little trouble with the swipe card locks other then that fine it was a 1/3rd cheaper then holiday inn and travel lodge. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you."

"The reception staff and bar staff are soo helpful. I have been a few times and normally visit as the rooms are great if working, comfortable beds. And the staff look after you, they even upgraded me to executive room which I’m grateful for when wanting to work. "
