The hosts and property were delightful. However, I did not have a vehicle and the property is not convenient if you need to be in Lewes or Brighton as there is limited - no - public transportation and it is not within walking distance. Carol went above and beyond in carting me to Lewes each day!

This was an amazing property! Very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very quiet country setting. Definitely a great place for a destination wedding or special event. The art gallery and shop had some really great finds. If we had more time, we would have loved to stay longer:)

The single room above a quiet pub has the best price you will find in the area, and an interesting history. Nice meals are available downstairs, very convenient. The Sunday lunch (I had the roast chicken with all the trimmings) was especially delicious. The friendly owners shared lots of information about the local area. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the room was quite warm until I figured out that hose on the portable air conditioner was not attached to the unit.

Lovely staff - so thoughtful and accommodating! I arrived early, coming immediately from a very long & tiring international flight. I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. Clean room and great staff

The room was too small for the number of nights we were there. However, the staff kept it clean and serviced daily. Our room was on the ground floor so we did not have to climb stairs with our luggage. That was a plus.
