"Right at the Dragon Gate in Chinatown area. Nice French bistro next door, an Irish pub down the alley, chowder/seafood two doors down. Fairly modern, but cost. Front desk staff very accommodating."

"Excellent value, comfortable old-fashioned hotel situated near Union Square. Nice staff. Bedrooms include bath which is a plus even if it's very small. Although breakfast is available free pastries all gone by 8.30 and not replaced."

"Hotel has great character and was clean as was the room. Room was smaller than most hotels. We were on the second floor, street side and night time street noise was disturbing. Other wise the hotel was quiet."
