"As a solo traveler, this was the best hotel to stay at. I loved how convenient it was to get around. Canada Place is right outside the hotel and it has the best mountain views. There are tons of good restaurants nearby. The coolest part is that they have a food court connected to this hotel, which has a Mcdonalds, Tim Hortons, Thai Express, Chatime... etc if you're trying to save money. Outside of the hotel, there were a few shuttles that you can take for excursions to Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. And if you want to use the shuttle to go to Squamish, the shuttle was a 3 minute walk away. I didn't need to rent or car or uber anywhere. From the YVR airport, there is a train that goes directly to this hotel too. They also provide 2 free water bottles per room daily, so I didnt need to buy water. The rooms were cleaned daily - no complaints. It took me about 30 minutes to walk from this hotel to Stanley Park - and the walk there was beautiful. You walk around the sea wall and get gorgeous views of the water and mountains. I highly recommend this hotel if you are not planning to drive around and want to relax in nature. "
