"The Belmont is in a good location with many shops, restaurant, and the BC stadium within walking distance. However, it's also on the cusp - within a block - of a not so nice "showgirl theaters" and nightclubs. So it mattered which way you walked. I thought the staff was the most helpful I've had in a long time. Always willing to answer questions and offer insights into their city. The room was very clean, updated and nicely appointed with heavenly beds. But the room was also VERY compact. I would not recommend any more than 2 people in these, because just the 2 of us were constantly backing into a wall or bed to let the other pass by. Breakfast was very good too."

"The room was comfortable and clean with a fantastic view. Was not fond of my check-in experience as my cc would not tap and the front desk person was a little rude about it. Surprising due to the rep of this hotel. In fact, the front desk person was distant and unpleasant from the start. I had to speak to the front desk manager and got everything sorted. Bar was great. Ordered breakfast on my last day and food was average. Again that was a big surprise. Will not be staying here again."

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. A big bonus for families with young children is that the room had a microwave, which made it so convenient to warm up milk for my younger son at night. We stayed at another hotel previously that didn’t have a microwave, which made things much more difficult when travelling with kids. The location was also excellent, close to BC Place and many other downtown attractions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially to families travelling with children!"
