"The hotel was a five minute walk from the trains and the metro. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was quiet and dark. Breakfast included eggs, cold meat, fruit, cheese, bread, cereals and some hot dishes like mushrooms, broccoli, beans, cooked tomatoes. The location was great if you want to be close to public transportation. We took the metro to old town for dinner in the evening as there didn’t seem to be any interesting restaurants near by."

"Stayed 9 nights, room was warm couldn't get the air conditioning to work but we were able to get some air from the window which was nice. The room layout for two people is odd for getting ready. The room isn't set up for someone like me who wants to do some work, there is no chair or desk, just a bed and small bench, bed and pillow need upgrading, I don't ever say that on these reviews, but this is a nice hotel with really bad flat pillows and flat bed. We had some nice people friendly desk people, but one was really crabby, the desk helped us with cabs and valet service with our car which was very nice. We didn't eat there at all. Location is excellent, you can walk everywhere. There is a McDonalds on the corner. Not saying we wouldn't stay there again. Had a good time. "

"My stay here wasn’t great. I wouldn’t stay here again. I knew the room was going to be teeny tiny (which was fine), but for $200+ a night, I expected some bare minimum amenities. There were no toiletries or coffee machine/kettle. Not the end of the world but would have been nice. What really ruined my stay was I was put down in one of the “subterranean” or basement rooms. They were doing LOUD construction starting early every single day of my stay. I mean loud banging right outside my room starting first thing in the AM. I went upstairs and kindly told the front desk to see if there was maybe a quieter room anywhere I could move to, as loud drilling and hammering directly outside my door wasn’t allowing me to sleep. They said “sorry but these things have to get done.” Let me assure you, the rooms are NOT soundproof as it claims. They were painting, so I had paint fumes coming into my room. They were doing work on the elevator, so I had to lug two suitcases up and down two flights of stairs. When I asked to check my luggage because I got there early, they made me take it back to the luggage closet and then go back and find it again. The front desk guys were kind of nice, but they didn’t really offer any assistance or customer service. When I went up to get a coffee at the bar area (because there’s no coffee in the rooms) the barista acted like I completely put him out. I may have got one of their cheaper rooms, but I still don’t think that qualifies the stay I had there."

"Disappointed that when we emailed the hotel 3 or 4 days before arrival to book dinner on the first evening along with the request for some sight seeing tips ! We never received a reply, on arrival it was obvious why , the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner because “ they were taking an inspirational break “ breakfast was just okay !! However staff and location of the hotel ( for sight seeing ) were excellent, I don’t think a hotel should have a 5* rating without a fully working restaurant!!!!!! PS, the rooms were very clean and comfortable!"

"If you’re visiting Vienna for a day or a week this hotel is perfect! Everyone on the staff from the front desk to the coffee bar, to the rooftop bar/restaurant and everyone in between were amazing! Welcoming, kind, respectful, friendly! Great location for exploring the city and enough outside for a quiet evening. We can’t thank everyone enough. "
