"This property can be Hilo's heartbeat. The location was breathtaking. They survived the storm, and they were very accommodating to guests. The restaurant was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the text communication was great. The room was funky, with plexiglass between the bathroom and the bedroom. It was very convenient to the airport, local parks, and all the sites. Would stay again on a future visit."

"It's an older building with charm. The room was very clean and maintained by housekeeping daily. There is a 24 hr. Laundry room on site and the staff is very friendly. Keep in mind that there is no A/C. There's a nice breeze that comes in off the bay and the rooms are equipped with fans. The views are beautiful and the surrounding area is very walkable with parks, shops, and cafes nearby. I will definitely stay again."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very pleased with areas as marked below with 5 stars. The 4 star review is in reference to couple of light fixtures didn't work (kitchen and mstr bdrm), and a problem with a twin bed frame that made sleeping uncomfortable. We made do and reported it at check out via text. We didn't want to interrupt our stay. Overall, we loved the unit and have already shared your condo name with friends. The most awesome view was from the master bedroom with the huge windows and the amazing sight of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa! Also, the park at the back of the building was perfect for walking. Mahalo! Gail"
