"Positives... Clean, warm and cosy room. Comfortable bed. Cookies and sweets in room. Good night sleep. Great, tasty cooked and continental breakfast. Negative... Our devices couldnt find or connect to wifi. Small tv in room so found difficult to see."

"Really nice stay but shine was taken off by one of staff being quite confrontational. Lovely welcome and check-in spoiled by an older lady I believe called Nicola (that’s what came up on the digital till when I purchased a drink later in the evening) who involved herself unnecessarily in the check-in process. The room was really nice and great value for money. I had a great view of the surrounding countryside. I booked a table for dinner and I found the food okay but again Nicola starred by being argumentative when I made an observation about the overcooked chips I was served and didn’t eat. In conclusion I generally enjoyed my stay but my overarching memory is the confrontational approach by Nicola which would probably prevent me from a repeat stay."
