"The cleanliness and comfort were above what we were expecting for a "budget" priced stay. Although the property is older and a little worn, everything (even the corners) was clean and it looks like the owners/managers take pride in running a good hotel. Desk staff was especially friendly and helpful. If you need an affordable place to sleep in a good bed, this is the spot."

"Room clean. Ni cold water. No staff and not available on phone"

"Loved this property! Beds were so comfortable, large walk-in shower and decor was amazing!"

"The jacuzzi suite was the size of a large apt. Very well maintained and clean as a whistle. The dog park and pool still open in late October are amazing amenities. Free breakfast with decent coffee, too. I will definitely stay here again."

"Perfect spot for our weekend away visiting Hermann. The cottage was so cute, clean, & comfortable bed. Nice morning walk on the trail on the property to the lake with a bridge-beautiful fall scenery! When we checked in, the smoke alarm was beeping due to low battery & it required a ladder to access so the front desk was notified. The hostess & maintenance guy came right away to fix it. They were very nice. Would def stay at this property again."

"My guy & I decided that this was the perfect stay for us: I wanted a B&B but he doesn't like 'staying in a bedroom in someone's house'. We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It is located on bend in the Missouri River & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit."

"Our host mentioned he does not receive messages from Expedia postings. So if you are not receiving check-in information, you might want to find another way to contact them. The property is lovely. The Treehouse was perfect for my granddaughter and me."

"Clean and quiet. What’s not to like"

"We love staying there and getting away"

"Excellent"

"It was a great experience! The only thing that would have made it better was a designated parking spot. We had a difficult time with parking and expected that to be part of the stay. We were told we could park behind the property but the Hermann Manor already had trucks parked there."

"With the virtual staff, I was able to easily access my room. Room was very contemporary and comfortable. The only issue was very noisy neighbors who partied late into the night."

"Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely."
