"Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced and the fish and chips were delightful. Our evening meal was also delicious and so nice not to be rushed. All staff were very helpful and friendly, we only stayed one night but would certainly recommend."

"We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel which i understand has recently been refurbished. Taylor greeted us upon attival and took us to our lovely clean rooms, with a huge comfy kingsize bed.He explained about breakfast, evening meals and late access, also how the minibar operated and our 2 complimentary Korev beers! Breakfast was delicious and many options for vegetarian or vegan. We didnt eat at the hotel in the evening as we felt the vegetarian options were limited. All in all we would highly recommended staying and we will definitely return."

"Stayed 2 nights at the Hoop Inn, bed extremely comfortable, staff all attentive and friendly. Evening meal was excellent and the breakfasts set us up for the day. Plenty of safe off road parking. I would highly recommended and will be looking to book again if we are visiting Devon in the future. "
