"This was my second two night stay at the Majestic. They are in the process of updating their rooms. My room had a beautiful new bed and carpet appeared new as well. I found the room to be nicer than my first stay several years ago. Aarron (apologies if I'm spelling your name wrong) at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. Upon checking in I asked if there were any 'no pets' rooms given my allergies and he moved me to one. When I had thought I lost my room key there were no issues in giving me another one (fortunately I found the one I misplaced). If I had to pick at one thing to improve it would be the cable TV in that I couldn't find a guide that easily told me and took me to what was on. Up channel, down channel had to do. I'm a low budget guy and am grateful that there is a motel close to Ogunquit that gives me a very reasonable price for a place that I found to be clean, quiet and safe. I will definitely stay at the Majestic again the next time I plan a trip to Ogunquit. Neil P."

"The property itself was very nice, but there were a few issues that detracted from our stay. We found bugs in the shower and in a few other rooms. The bathroom towels were also not very absorbent and could definitely be improved.Additionally, the shades in the master bedroom did not block out enough light. They should be light-blocking or room-darkening shades, especially for a bedroom.Overall, it was a very nice property, but addressing these issues would make the experience much more comfortable for future guests. Overall, we did enjoy our stay."
Haven By The Sea B&B Inn

"I think this property is in the process of becoming a wonderful inn, but is not there yet. Under new ownership the past couple of years, the two brothers who own it seem serious about creating a first class stay experience, but still have some work to do. The fireplace pilot should have been turned on so we could enjoy it, since that was one of the reasons I booked our room there and no one was available to request that it be working. Lighting in the room was quite poor, with some burnt out light bulbs and the magnifying makeup mirror light was dim at best. There should be soap, shampoo, and conditioner available at the jacuzzi tub. The room overall was lovely. Nice touch with the comfy bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious! Worth giving a second chance."
