"I love the Menger. I've stayed 30 plus times over the past 10 years. The rooms are great. The new restaurant is an added bonus. The only complaint is the pool carpet. We've the years it has not worn well. It moldy and smells like a zoo. Nasty! My feet were black. Hope that new pool flooring is in the plans this fall."

"Very friendly & helpful staff from Corina and Blanca at the Front desk to Jesus in Maintenance ( which we didn’t need— I just didn’t know how to use something). I have never had such an easy time getting around a hotel or around a major downtown area and it was definitely a team effort that allowed that to happen. I love that this hotel is centrally located. You just step out of the building and can walk around to so many landmarks."

"The staff were excellent. I lost my valet ticket. No problem - with proper identification, we had our car in no time. We got drenched in a thunder shower - immediate hot towels were brought to us. The food in the tavern, accompanied by music, was good. I would definitely stay here again. it is close to the river walk, but not as expensive as the hotels right on the river"
