"This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size. Overwhelmingly the damp which is evident in many places is an issue, as is the loose and degrading paint and loose and degrading skirting and quadrant. Fridge wasn’t clean, the appliances...

"Really lovely property! Very clean and lovely space. Location is perfect for visiting Whitby, and the street has lovely shops, bar/pubs and breakfast place! Would recommend! The car park near by was also free during certain months (October to March I believe) which is useful to know! Prompt replies from hosts! "

"It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! "

"Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful stay in this central and very convenient location. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. Only comment would be that the living room rug clearly hadn't been hoovered after the previous visitors left. Cleaned to a high standard elsewhere."
