"I had a good night here.
The room was very spacious and well appointed, if a bit old fashioned. A bath and a shower enclosure which is unusual these days.
Some very minor maintenance issues but I was very pleased with the room overall.
The bar terrace is great, such a nice place to sit out if sunny.
The staff were friendly and helpful in the main.
Drinks and food prices were very high (£7.50 for a pint of lager, £22 for burger and fries) but probably in line with the hotel's general vibe.
The evening food was, to be fair, very good quality.
The cooked breakfast was, again, very good quality. The orange juice and (particularly) the coffee were poor (probably the worst coffee, served yourself from a flask, that I've had in years!).
I would stay here again."
