"We have stayed a few times but before the hotel was closed for a few months we always enjoyed it here. We got into the room and the TV wasn’t working properly, staff did come to try fix it then the maintenance man. He couldn’t fix it so said he would speak to reception and ask for us to be moved, we waited an hour then went to reception the message had not been passed on. "I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"

"There is no fridge facility in the room provided. I was given a disabled room - the water from the shower head flowed all the way out the door so some tradie hasn't completed their paving/ tiling work correctly!"

"I guess you pay for what you get. No hand wash or any soap at all, just a sachet of shampoo and conditioner. A tiny and I mean tiny bit of toilet roll with no other rolls in the room. Don’t expect a nice room and you will be fine here, it did the job for a quick sleep to then get back on the road. "
