"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. "Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them."

"Poor cleaning, missing towels and linen. Didn’t rectify when made aware. On arrival home, all clothes needs washing due to mouldy smell. Poorly equipped kitchen for an apartment. Great location though. Would not stay again. "
