"The hotel was clean and we had a polite welcome. However I was not aware that they had a policy of £30 “deposit” incase of any breakages. No where have I heard about this when I have paid for hotels and I was not told when this deposit would be reimbursed when the room was vacated with no issues (which it was). I would hope this deposit is reimbursed once checked on the checking out date. It does not make me want to book a holiday inn room again with random clauses such as this. "
