"I had good sleep. The lady making breakfast very friendly makes you feel like home. I booked one day and then added another night. Good for the price, I had to ask for pillows the one was in the room wasn’t to my liking . "

"The staff were just so lovely here. Really really friendly, helpful, bubbly and after a 7 hr drive from Brighton to Newcastle it was nice to be greeted with such friendliness. I can’t remember the ladies name who checked us in but she was super nice (I hope she got Sam fender ;) in the end) and the night guy who was there when we returned from St James’s was also such a nice guy, he was still there in the morning so he saw us off. Both took to time to chat and not just small talk or the regular...

"For the price, (£32) for a night it was spot on. All I wanted was a bit of tv a hot shower and a bed and all of that was available. Staff were very friendly, smart young people who seem to run a good little enterprise. Lively little pub with music on and football competing for noise. Tried to book again the following night but nothing left. Will definitely return. 15 minute walk from town centre."
