"The stay was pleasant although there were concerns. Our room had "hidden step"between bathroom and bedroom, it should be highlighted with hi viz reflective tape. The food was nice,the staff were very helpful. The views are lovely, not happy with having to pay £6.00 per day for parking having paid to stay there anyway. We're registered disabled how ever the disabled sign was barely visible??? We would return though. "

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, the beds a little soft for me but thats personal preference. The breakfast was good. The hotel is within walking distance of the train stations which was excellent. "

"We had a great 6 day stay at the Damson Dene. All the staff are super friendly. Had a couple of SPA treatments with Sharon, they were amazing and so reasonable priced. The food in the hotel was superb. The breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were delicious. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. Over the six days we were there they only made up our room twice. Once we did put the "do not disturb" up as my husband wasn't feeling great. I had to request for them to go in on...

"Beautiful place, nice staff. We loved the large pool, hot tub, and sauna. Very decent hot break-fast in the morning and our room was large and comfortable. Only thing that would have been nice is to have a bar fridge in our room. The intended space was there for it, but it wasn’t there. "

"Lovely stay. Staff all very welcoming. Food lovely with extensive buffet breakfast and dinner was also very nice. Rooms spacious but could have maybe done with some updating. Nice balcony which we couldnt use unfortunately due to the weather.Lovely views of lake windemere from the grounds. We enjoyed the pool and were lucky enough to have it to ourselves every day. Location good but did mean we had to drive. Didnt struggle to get parked at the hotel."
