"古ーいホテルでしたが部屋はそれなりに改装されていて清潔度は問題なし。古き良きスコットランドのホテルという感じでした。ロビー、食堂は広々していてスタッフの方々の対応もよかった。 朝食付き2人で1泊18500円くらい。イギリスでは安いほうでコスパはGood！ 朝食はビュッフェ形式でパン数種類、オートミール、卵料理、ポテト料理、ソーセージ、焼きマッシュルーム(イギリスの朝食では定番のよう)、ヨーグルト、コーヒー紅茶、牛乳・フレッシュジュースなどメニュー豊富。ただし日本のホテル朝食のような野菜サラダは、ここのホテルに限らずイギリス朝食では望めません。 もしまた行くことがあれば、部屋をグレードアップして利用したいです。"

"Johnathan was a huge help with many things. The property is 300 years old, so that needs to be kept in mind when booking. It is also up a pretty steep hill (we felt stronger by the end of our stay). The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning during the last UK heat wave. This was a charming stay that we would do again."

"This is a beautifully maintained building with so much character and personalized love put into it; we loved our stay! It is slightly off the “path” of larger hotels, making it perfect for us. It is so close to town, we easily popped over a walking bridge for dinner and then found the best cafe for breakfast. The room is such a great use of space fitting our family of four, with two teens, nicely into one room with enough space and amenities to meet our needs. The bathroom is so cute and...

"The apartments are very central which is great. You have to collect the key from another location up round the corner which isn’t ideal. The apartment was nice, bright & well equipped. The only downside was the bathroom reeked of damp, we think it was the bath mat but it filled the whole room with a very strong damp smell. Overall though we would stay here again, just hopefully they’d have a different bathmat which doesn’t smell."

"The room was spacious and very nice, the bed was comfortable and we loved the coffee and tea station. We ate at the restaurant several times and they were always understaffed. The staff that were there were working very hard, but there were just too few. We waited at the hostess station for over 10 minutes before someone was able to seat us, then it took forever to order and get our food. The quality of the food was very average. But the location of the hotel was perfect for our activities."
