The breakfast hamper was plentiful and the food in the restaurant was very good too, we had an evening meal and cooked breakfast during our weekend stay. "Location wise this will not be for everyone as it is a little secluded, but for those whom are looking for a base to use that isn't Town / City centre it is ideal, beautiful setting with friendly and welcoming staff; this was my second stay in as many months and although not my usual choice of hotel (usually boutique / luxury hotels) I found myself submerged in the "quiet charm" of the hotel and staff; I would also add that the beds (mattress topper / linen) is worth of any 5* hotel that I have...

"A quirky b&b. Lovely inside and lots of thought has gone into the place by the owner. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Access 24/7 via coded door. Lovely settee area on ground floor with kitchen area. We had rooms 1. 4 and 6 for our group of 5 adults. Host superb. Nothing any hassle. Would go back. "

"We had a pleasant stay for one night at Caistor Hall. Staff were very friendly, Grounds were lovely and dinner was decent. Breakfast was tasty and good choice for a vegetarian. Room had creaky floorboards and a little too warm and bathroom was very small, shower started to drip water at 3am for about a minute which woke me up and I had trouble getting back to sleep but overall it was a very nice stay and I would return.
