"I've stayed at the property several times whilst attending a work training event. On a number of occasions I have been allocated a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the rest of my colleagues. When I queried this at check in, I was advised there were no other rooms available. What I also find disappointing is that one of my colleagues consistently appears to receive room upgrades, yet whenever I have politely asked, I am told that nothing is available. During my most recent stay, after reaching down to my bag at reception, I stood up and noticed the receptionist laughing with a colleague whilst looking in my direction. Whether intentional or not, it came across as unprofessional and uncomfortable. I have another work training session at the beginning of June and, although the Park Royal would have been the most convenient option, I have chosen to stay elsewhere instead. If staff are going to mock or laugh at guests, I would at least expect it not to happen within view of the check in desk. Very disappointing and not the level of professionalism I would expect. As a result, I will not be staying at the hotel again in future."

"Great hotel, bed was super comfortable however your plumbing needs a little work with the noise it makes when running water. If someone was in the shower it went off ever ten seconds like a train horn and it became irritating. Didn’t matter if you used the shower, toilet or sink it went off. "Air conditioning did not work but the room was really hot, you couldn't open the windows apart from a crack due to safety locks so hotel room was really hot. Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in. "
