"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice but was looking a little old and worn. It was nice to have access to the spa facilities, it would be nice if these had an upgrade, the area was looking old, worn and dirty and could do with more seating areas/areas to put belongings when using the pool/thermal areas. On the Monday morning there was a lot of drilling and banging from quite early on which was a shame as it did wake us up earlier than planned."

"Parking was easy though we have a electric car so the rules for paying for parking while charging are not clear and the staff wasn't sure about how it worked. Once we moved our car after charging, we were fine."

I probably would have booked somewhere else if I knew there was an event on (Boogie Bingo) as it was loud and the people were rowdy. There was chew, which included police being needed. It didn’t give me much hope seeing a bouncer on the hotel reception. Wasn’t too bad as we went out and didn’t get back until late but I suspect if I intended to go to bed early and rest it would have been a nightmare"

"A lovely premium room with a giant bed and views of the peace gardens. Clean, cosy and well equipped. Only two slight downsides - pillows were small and lumpy so not a comfortable sleep, and the windows didnt open; there is aircon but I like a bit of fresh air."

"Pretty hotel. We had a wonderful stay in room 121. The suite had a beautiful 4 poster and the bathroom a huge roll top bath. We visited the spa and had an excellent breakfast. Lovely stay. Will return. "

"The room was clean and tidy and staff were friendly … we had a twin room which I shared with my daughter. She got into her bed before me but when I went to get into bed …there was no bottom sheet … just a mattress topper. I called reception and they did sent up 2 sheets … for me to make it up myself🤔 Apart from that .. stay was as expected."
