We enjoyed certain activities, particularly the polo experience, which was a standout. However, other offerings such as the hiking and meditation experiences felt underwhelming and not especially well executed. Our stay took an unexpected turn when we were unable to leave due to a cartel safety situation, requiring us to extend our stay by five additional days. While the team did their best under difficult circumstances and graciously comped one night, we felt there could have been more proactive guidance—particularly from the concierge—around support options such as travel insurance or alternative arrangements, given the significant added expense.
