"Simple, clean, comfortable hotel. An EXCELLENT location. Barely a block from Paddington station and Heathrow Express. A quick walk to Kensington Gardens/ Hyde Park. Very easy to navigate to popular tourist attractions. There is even a bus stop directly outside. I’ve stayed at the Belvedere twice and both times have been very happy and get it was a great value for the cost. I will be staying again. Only negatives: No elevator (which is common of many of the nearby hotels), and my room was a little small. Completely functional for one person, just small."

"As a solo traveller, I LOVED this hotel. The rooms are very small, and there is no elevator, which was very hard on my knees as I was on the third floor, but the location and staff made it all worthwhile. Look, this is not a super fancy hotel - it is where you stay when you know you are going to be exploring London for 10-12 hours each day and just need a place to sleep and wash up. It is located a very short block from Paddington Station which made it ideal for getting anywhere I wanted to go. The restaurants around the area were all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were so kind and helpful, they truly made my stay a wonderful experience, and it is definitely where I will be staying when I return. Again - it is nothing fancy, and if you have mobility issues, there is no elevator, but the staff and atmosphere made it the top of my list pf places I stayed while in Europe."

"This hotel has an amazing location but it stops there. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. The king bed is just two twin beds sandwiched together with a very uncomfortable seem in the middle. Mattresses are so old that the springs are gone. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrades. Moths flying around the halls and annoying cleaning staff that still knocks when you have do not disturb sign on. I saw a very fast moving insect in my bathroom on the last day. Would not recommend staying here. AC and fridge both very loud. Toilet runs. Not sure how this is even 4 star"

"Fantastic room, once you become familiarized with the technology, on how it works it's fantastic! Great firm bed, black out screen truly works, kitchenette was a wonderful touch, easy to chill out in the room after walking all day. Air conditioner, fan and heater all worked as did shower facility which was really nice. Toiletries were lovely as well. Staff was exceptional with Magdalena as a stand out! Great location to railway, tube and local grocery stores. Loved our stay and the whole Aparthotel concept."

"Spotlessly clean through out the hotel. Delicious breakfast. Reception staff, so very friendly and helpful. Concierge amazingly helpful. Stayed here often, many years ago and we are back and not going anywhere else."

"We stayed two non-consecutive nights. The first day we got to store our luggage. We were able to check into our rooms early on the second day. Both were so helpful to us. The rooms are nice. The gym is great. "
