"We planned our trip around hiking the coastal redwoods at Armstrong State Park. "

"The cottage was delightful, nestled among redwood trees. It was clean and cozy, yet had all the amenities necessary to cook full meals. There was excellent heating and probably cooling, but we didn't need it. The best was a completely private back patio area with a hot tub.Our host, Lexi, was very responsive and easy to communicate with."

"Overall a great little place to stay.The beds are very creaky make a lot of noise and our semi comfortable.Hot tub wat hot enough although be careful it is old and the jets do not adjust.Watch out for cob webs and spiders they are all over the outside of the house.If you have little kids with you be aware that the front windows do not have screens so if you open them and they climb on the couch they can fall out.If you plan your vacation and you know there's going to be political rallies avoid this place the little town is very politically active.Would probably stay here again."

"Staff very nice - gave us a late checkout because we also had massages There was a loud machine noice humming in middle of night and I’m not sure what the sound was coming from- an A/C or heater or ?? Anyhow, that kept me from sleeping but it might have been a one time thing "

"The pool is not just for guests, anyone can buy a pass, so we paid a fair amount of money for a busy pool that anyone can access next to the road, the town is a run down town, not worth to stay there for the town, spa all booked, restaurant full, the room is cute, but i don’t need to pay to look at the wall cause there’s no really much to do. "

"Phenomenal place to stay, very beautiful and plenty of room for everyone. It was like a miniature compound so everyone could have their own bathroom and showers! Highly recommend!"
