Hotel Palazzo Argenta

10/10 Excellent

"6 of our group stayed in 4 rooms at the hotel at the end of our daughter’s wedding in Amalfi. It is very close to the Naples Airport, which made leaving the next day much quicker, rather than staying near the port, which would have meant getting thru rush hour traffic for a much longer drive. The neighborhood doesn’t have many restaurants, (mostly pizza), so we traveled by taxi the night we were there to get dinner near the water, but otherwise, the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was terrific, so that made for a nice meal before we left for the airport. I would recommend the hotel, especially if close proximity to the airport is important."

"We only stayed for a night due to an early morning flight out of Naples, but we loved our time there! Giangi, our host, was so helpful directing us around town and arranging our early taxi to the airport. The bed and breakfast was quiet, clean and safe. We did not get to enjoy breakfast in the morning, but the coffee/espresso was fantastic. Grazie mille!"

"Location was great - it was in the middle of the action, with a lot of restaurants nearby. Room was great, on the larger side by European standards and very clean. Airconditioning worked great. Reaching the unit was a bit funky, including a super slow and small elevator (not paid). Receptionist was amazing - provided us with great suggestions for eating and visiting Napoli. The only drawback was the wifi - which was slow or mostly not working, however, this was not a big deal for us."

"Very nice room with perfect temperature with the AC. Close to most of the excursions pickups and napoli central. Host was very easy to reach to. The bed was a bit hard for my liking and you could hear the outside noises, but a least at night it was mostly quiet. Breakfast from the bar down the hotel was included. The ad on expedia said there would be a landry room, but it’s down the street and it is not included. The only down point would be the neighborhood. Felt a bit sketchy if you went in the streets behind, but if you stayed on the main street, I would say it was fine."

"A really good value for money hotel. There’s no frills but the bedrooms are serviced to a high standard and are beautifully clean. The buffet breakfast is excellent and has a huge variety of choices to suit everyone. The air conditioning is good too. Staff are very friendly and very helpful."
