I usually find myself not entirely comfortable in hotels. This was far from true at Citizen M Bowery! The attention to details in the rooms was inspired and thoughtful. I specifically found the shower to be comfortable, great pressure, never running out of hot water, and easy to maneuver in. The whole room was like that. You feel comfortable. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located right in front of the famous L’industrie Pizza and down the street is Little Italy with many great restaurants. There famous caffe Paradiso is only a 7 min walk and a 5 min walk to Leons bagels! The hotel provided a free water dispenser down in their lobby as well as free coffee and teas. They also provide free yummy croissants in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again.

If you prefer the nouveau sheen and ostentatious sterility of present-day New York, do not stay here. Please. There are countless banal and pretentious options that would better suit your needs. This is not one of them. However, if you have a desire for subtle luxury and intend to spend some time hibernating with your flame between indulging your impeccable taste via dining, shopping, and consuming once-private collections; book a room. Rooftop bar was amazing! Room was nice with great views.

Fantastic location in the Lower East Side. We walked everywhere or took the subway, the hotel was close enough to restaurants/shopping but still surprisingly quiet inside. Loved the modern/minimalist decor and light touch service. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to NYC!

This is a budget boutique hotel located in the Lower East Side. The room is small, but perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Everything was incredibly clean, the wifi and thermostat worked well and there are nice views of the city, especially from the seventh floor. The staff was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end of my stay. Common areas were cozy and clean. They even let me store my bags for several hours on my checkout day while waiting on my late flight.

I was greeted warmly by the front desk personnel and immediately assigned to the hotel room. I was very pleased with the set-up and cleanliness of the entire facilily that I had access to. I would strongly recommend that my future stays in the Gatsby hotel room be on the 6th floor, preferably with an inside room away from the street traffic noises.

Travel to NY often. The Arlo always is a great stay. Clean, smells amazing, good vibes, friendly/stylish staff, great decor, reasonably priced. Just do it. Stay here. Perfect for solo travel.

Very new interior. A good deal compared with other hotels in the area. Nice midtown location. Nearby subway and bus. Nice little cafe inside hotel (and bar in late afternoon and evening. Rooms while not large are big enough and larger than many hotels.

I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Excellent staff, very polite, accommodating and welcoming. Its minutes walk away from Times Square. Everything is near by. I love staying here. Always my go to hotel. Thanks
