"The number of activities is huge. I like that! The food was Excellent. More effort to keeping the beach in good condition would help your cause. A better system for walk up bar service. Within our party of 6, all but one of us experienced que jumping, which led to arguments. Lines on the ground where people need to line up for drink service. "

"We had a delicious breakfast each day at the Maya Beach Buffet, with exceptional service from Sylvia and Yarela, on the outside patio. We had memorable meals at different à la cartes, all of which were great and fun to try. We took part in activities at the Caribe pool in the day and had great lunches at the grills by the beach. We loved being on the beach and at the adults only pool and had no trouble finding loungers each day. Can’t wait to return!"

"This was a scam. Host didn’t reply to messages as trip approached. VRBO confirmed that host hadn’t logged into system for weeks - as I was at the airport ready to fly out with family. Luckily they (VRBO) did help resolve this, but it was not stress-free and cost us a day of vacation."

"Chez Waffle has a pretty back lounge area with view of the water and fish swimming into the inlet. The condition of the rooms is a bit dated. The prices of food on the high side. It is extremely quiet in this gated community. If you want lots to do, you are isolated. I did diviving and day trips every day, so spend little time at the hotel (only evenings). The local busses that run between Playa an d Tulum are excellent. Very cheap! Overall, enjoyed my stay and would do this again. I recommend it."
