"Large, clean, quiet room on 8th floor. Comfortable bed. Spacious lobby area with lots of seating and a coffee machine with plenty of options. Outstanding staff, helped us with everything from holding the elevator door open for me when I was holding two cups of coffee to printing out documents sent to us at the last minute. There were restaurants, bars, a couple of small groceries and cafes on our block or within a 5 minute walk. The area is not as frightening as many reviews have made it out to be. For sure some sketchy people and sketchy smells but nothing out of the ordinary in a big city and not much different from what you’ll encounter in the much more upscale Union Square. "

"Staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, the only issue I had was there were some drain flies in the sink when I arrived, but they didn’t return after I killed them. Super cool spot, would definitely stay here again."
