"After all it is a classic hotel that has not been updated in a long time. The pool has not been fix and you don't know about it until you get there. There are a few things that are helping the hotel. One, the location is great. It's located in great neighborhood. Two, the full sit down dinning experience for breakfast witch everyone seeing to like. Lastly the shower in the room is by far one of my best shower experiences at a hotel. The staff attitude needs to improve, everyone seeing miserable or not really like their job. This is a common thing around St Louis so maybe that's just their culture there."

"This stay was a terrible experience. I came to town for a family emergency. There was an error made on the booking side. The night staff was very accommodating, but the morning staff was very dismissive. I thought this would be my go to hotel for lodging in St. Louis, but not after this. For a hotel chain that tries to tout customer service, I was disappointed. My previous stays were great. A true sign of customer service is how accommodating the staff can be towards the customer. I was shown no grace by the supervisor that day."
