"We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location."

"Probably one of my favorite UK stays. I booked the morning of as a bit of a spur of the moment decision. The price was absolutely fantastic, the room that I got could not be beat. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. Jess the supervisor was an absolute gem. The food is great, if I’m ever in the area again I will absolutely be staying here. "Strikingly looking hotel. Unfortunately on entering reception, we were greeted with a dirty carpet, which carries on into the bar area with lots of stains. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'. Pleased with the room, the layout and amenities. Curtains need seeing to, useless and need blackouts! All the staff were pleasant and hard working. Did not expect a buffet...

"The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again when travelling south . Although rooms a little dated, they were very spacious , clean and neutrally...

"I was disappointed with our stay at Gloucester Robinswood Hotel. Check-in was very slow, and there were groups of teenagers hanging around the lobby which didn’t create the best first impression. Our room had no air conditioning, which was particularly uncomfortable during the 35°C heat. When I asked at reception for a fan, I was simply told they had all been distributed around the hotel, so there wasn’t one available. As our room was on the ground floor, we couldn’t safely leave the windows...

"Spa only had 3 or 4 loungers which was disappointing as chairs and table on other side was not easy to access. Sauna and steam room small but okay. Outside lounge area was nice for pastries and coffee. Breakfast is good had a great variety. Serve was friendly but not intrusive which made up for the rest. Loved my buttermilk pancakes, bacon and syrup! Dining after the spa was a big disappointment though as there's not much choice and we weren't able to order after 830pm as kitchens seem to...

"The best thing about this hotel is the location which is fantastic, and the staff were very nice. We stayed in the Oak Suite which is apparently the best room; it benefits from a private terrace with a pair of easy chairs to watch the river and it's occupancy go by, which is lovely. For me it definitely wasn't a four star, but a fair three star hotel. There was a temporary kitchen which also hampered them as well as the view. The room was clean and airy with a (strangely grubby!)Juliet balcony...

"Five stars for old and charming. I've taught about the use of coaching inns in play production during the Tudor period. I'm from California, so it was very exciting to see one in person. I recommend the best room--the Oak. It's reasonably priced and will make you feel as if you are in a period movie. The New Inn is well located for seeing the Cathedral, which is unusually rich in history and warrants a guided tour. The bar carries a very good selection of beer."
