"The most peaceful sleep I've ever had in a motel...was next to a a stream, and the stream sang us to seep! Desk clerk was the best!!!!!"

"We stayed at the Antlers because we were there for a wedding and the venue was in the hotel. Beautiful setup for the wedding and the food was excellent! Rianne (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) was at the front desk when we arrived at 2:30am from Denver and was an excellent help, despite having her computer system go down and being by herself! She definitely deserves a raise for her calm demeanor during the challenging time! All the front service personnel were very friendly, helpful and courteous during the day as well. My concern was that the pillow cases smelled. I just used one pillow that didn't smell. I didn't ask for clean ones because we were barely in the room, which was cozy, on the small side. Amenities were standard. The air conditioner in the room is loud and the elevators may need to be replaced soon. I did get charged an extra $50 at the hotel for "incidentals" after my room was paid in full, which I still don't understand. Maybe it's to repair the place? Overall, the staff are what really made my stay a good one. I didn't get breakfast because we had to pay for it. Other hotels charge about the same or less and have complimentary breakfast. Again, we stayed here because the wedding venue was here."

"Stayed in the castle and it was pretty cool. Clean room, breakfast was great and friendly staff. Hiking: Must do the Garden of the Gods overlook and the Dorothy Falls hikes if you are able! They both had stunning views!"

Villa Motel at Manitou Springs

"Everything, check in, rooms, location and staff were great. The location is exceptional for enjoying the arcade and shops along Manitou Springs St. Our teen age kids walked to the Arcade in about 5 minutes and were able to enjoy a little freedom. The staff at the Villa were helpful with information about getting to places and how to make our stay more enjoyable. Because of the number of people visiting Manitou we took the free city bus service so we didn’t have to waste time finding parking and pay to park. There is plenty of guest parking at the hotel and a bus stop next to the hotel. We also used the bus for our Pikes Peak Rail trip. That was so much better than paying $15-25 to park and the time it would take to park. The pool and hot tub were very nice, Extremely clean and plenty of room for our large group. This was our first time at the Villa. We all highly recommend the Villa."

"Beautiful room. We had and upgrade with one of the suites. The staff were all incredibly helpful. The restaurant food was very good and the servers were great. Parking is a challenge in the area, but the valet service was awesome. We picked this place as we were able to walk, about 20 min, to the Cog Railway, which is a plus given parking is a challenge there as well."
