"The hotel was okay, and under-going renovations while I stayed so it may get better. But, overall, the hotel was dated and expensive for what you get. Staff wasn't rude, but not warm or overly helpful either - which is fine with me, but also doesn't earn any marks that would balance out the other aspects of the hotel. I'm mostly not factoring it into my rating because the booking did say "pool view" - but, be aware that the pool view is a window to an indoor pool. So, "pool view" rooms have no...

"Beautiful location (I was there for Fall foliage). Good service and very warm and cozy surroundings and room very spacious and comfortable."

"We booked a Sat and Sun night. The Sat night was $550 while the Sun night was $200. The hotel was acceptable for $200 a night but was not for $550. The room was very dated and the bathroom had some mold. I can say that it was a good location in relation to Main street and the food at the Dancing Bears was good."

"Awesome place. Highly recommended"

"Bathroom sink drained exceptionally slow - sliding door didn’t lock - carpet was vacuumed but could use a good shampooing. Room was way too warm-it was as if the heat was on but no thermostat in the room so we had to sleep with the sliding door open which was very noisy with people next door using very foul language smoking weed on the balcony -coughing and talking extremely loudly. Every time they left their room they slammed the door so hard it shook the building!"

"The location was perfect. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The lake was right across the street. However, was surprised that the room didn't have a microwave and the mini fridge wasn't always working. The hotel was extremely accommodating and very pet friendly. Would definitely stay again."

"Views are incredible, walk out to town , restaurants, lake."

"Host is responsive. I had a problem with the door and she was able to guide me. I think the door needs to be fixed though. You have to slam it to lock it."

"It was a contact less reservation. Didn't really care for that. No tissues, coffee, tea or hair dryer. Room looked like it had been recently updated and was in great shape. I recommend the Cascade Inn as a good place to stay."

"I guess not having someone to check in with is the reason for the lower rate. The room was clean though, and the location works to walk into the village. Parking is definitely tight. I would stay here again."

"The room was very clean. The only drawback from my perspective was that we could not walk to downtown as there were no sidewalks until you got to the Italian restaurant near the red light. (sorry, I can't remember the name of it)"
