"Everything was perfect with this house, nice comfy bed, indoor fireplace that needed no wood, a deer that would roam around the property, was a distant to go places but we knew in advance, definitely recommended "

"The room was clean but basic. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"This place is absolutely disgusting and a potential health hazard. Please steer clear! Check other reviews here and elsewhere and you will see many similar warnings. I survived my stay and subsequently read that the hotel is used by the Department of Social Services to house people in crisis. That becomes abundantly clear on arrival. The property is in utter disrepair and the staff seemed resigned to the situation. The door to my room was falling off its hinges. The worst of the worst: some kind...

"We enjoyed our visit to to Painted Post Econolodge. The evening desk clerk was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, as well as friendly and polite."

"I stayed at this hotel for the wineglass half marathon. It is conveniently located 10 minutes from the start line, and from the glass museum where the expo is at. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the stuff was very friendly. They even set grab bags out for the runners the morning of the race (since we left well before breakfast hours). Beds were extremely comfortable, and I liked that they had firm and soft pillows that were even labeled! Would definitely stay here again and recommend...

"Clean, modern, well equipped rooms. The one-night stay at $180 seemed a little high for a motel room."

"Clean room, quiet, great staff"

"I was assigned the room next to the elevator.I requested to change for one that further away, but the front desk refused, saying no complaints for the noise. The whole night I was brother and not got a good sleep. It is just simple thing for them but help the customers a lot."

"Two washers and two dryers and only one washer was working. Neither dryer. Someone left clothes in the washer and dryer for over a day. I finally removed them from the washer and washed my clothes. I then removed the clothes from the dryer and filled it with mine. After thirty minutes I checked the dryer and it was stone cold and the clothes just as wet. Bed was not comfortable nor was anything in good condition in the room. The staff was pleasant enough so it’s not their fault it’s a rundown...

"Advertised free breakfast but none available not even coffee!! Was told I could go to gas station down the road for coffee. Stated breakfast room was being remodeled but looks like absolutely nothing was being remodeled. Rooms themselves were decent and clean, local people seemed to hang out near front doors a lot to visit with staff"

"I came to Corning for the wineglass marathon and literally this hotel was the only place I could find close enough to the finish line that accommodated a one night stay in such short notice booking. Doug and Sheila were the most helpful with several situations including helping me call around for a taxi so get me to the expo to pick up my marathon bib. They were so patient, gave suggestions for things I was asking/looking for like breakfast before the marathon; chatted with me about my...

"I only stayed 2 nights but wish it was longer. I was meeting family in the area for a winery tour and got to the inn around 9:30. Kim came out to greet me and I asked her if I could leave my car there as my daughter was picking me up. She was very accommodating and even gave me a tour and history of the inn while I was waiting. I also spoke to Gary, Kim's husband, and he was a wealth of information about the various wineries in the area and all the different types of wine produced in the region....
