"Nice boutique hotel that is very nice. It seemed to cater to a younger crowd as there was a DJ each evening in the restaurant area. It was also a bit of a trek (20-30 minute walk) to sites such as the Opera House and The Rocks but I loved walking through the city and the parks. For me as an older solo traveler, a hotel nearer The Rocks would have been better. The staff at Ace was quite nice."

"I had an excellent stay at Oxford House last weekend. The rooms, although small, are very thoughtfully laid out. I booked the smallest room, which was fine for 1 person or a couple, but opt for a larger room if a couple of friends are sharing. My room was located at the back of the hotel away from the main road and away from the pool. "Very clean and modern rooms. Great amenities. Great breakfast buffet included when you book on Expedia but NOT when you book through the hotel directly, which is good to know. Very quiet we had two enjoyable nights. The lighting in the rooms is also cool and there is a Bluetooth speaker system in each room. Highly recommend, this place is a great value for the money. There are also a lot of people hanging out in the lobby area - it’s a nice social hostel-like scene without the hostel grimy-ness!"
