"Emerald Lake is very well kept. Nice landscaping and neat appearance. A beautiful, quiet, relaxing place. Very clean inside and out. It was just secluded enough for us, yet less than 10 minutes from Hwy 276 and a couple of small restaurants and a coffee shop. It was also just 10 minutes to Dupont State Forest for hiking. The Sassy Goose pavilion/shelter was a nice touch with bocci ball, cornhole, etc. Really great place to relax. I hope we're able to come back!"

"Wonderful stay. Home was clean, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Communication excellent, smooth easy check in and out, plenty of room and well stocked kitchen. We had a wonderful trip and the table setting on the front porch was perfect for a calibration dinner after the marriage proposal. "

"The house is absolutely lovely—beautifully maintained and thoughtfully appointed. Its remote location added to the charm for us, offering peace, privacy, and a true getaway from the everyday.The gate at the property entrance can be a bit cumbersome, but we appreciated the added sense of security and felt it was worth the effort to keep it locked.One small note for future guests: while there is a charcoal grill available, charcoal is not provided, so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to grill.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return!"
