"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning. The converted barn is spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Our hosts warmly welcomed us and our little dog. It was truly a pet-friendly experience. The property has a lovely view and includes a grazing Highland cow in the pasture. Point Lobos and Monastery Beach are within walking distance, and visits to Carmel are just minutes away. "

"Wonderful house with fabulous ocean view. House itself and host customer service are first rate.Kitchen well very stocked with pots, pans, utensils. Don't know why anyone would comment otherwise unless they wanted something specialized. There was even a blender although I suppose there was not electric mixer. Safeway and other stores are a few miles north in Carme. There is a closer pricey convenience store. Carmel itself has lovely shops appropriate for a high end coastal area.Only glitches were: (1) they should make more clear that code to the gate and code for lockbox are different, and you need to have them before you arrive since you may not have cell service, and (2) make wifi password more obvious inside house upon arrival (we had to hunt for it in a drawer)."

"The Home was amazing, views were breathtaking and from our story book. Simply amazing. The home was very cozy and well maintained and I felt at home. Everything you could need was provided. Enjoyed the backyard and deck seating areas, spent all our time there enjoying their amazing views of the cliffs and vegetation and nature and Pacific Ocean. Karen was a sweetheart from the beginning to the end of our stay and was easily reachable. We loved it. Had planned many adventures around Carmel Highlands areas but decided to stay home ( Karen’s Home) because we felt so comfortable and relaxed and at Peace. Thank you Karen We will be coming back soon. "
