"Charming hotel. Staff was very nice and conversational. It felt like the real Swiss German experience, not some tourist trap. It's a pretty old building with no air conditioning, but is very charming. Breakfast is pretty basic, but the staff made an effort, even providing American style filter coffee. "Very convenient location for both the main sights of the old town and the train station. Helpful staff. I had booked a small room but it was fine in terms of size. A bit noisy early in the morning but it was on a main road so to be expected. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Free tea, coffee and ice cream available."
