"Very nice hotel. Location and facilities were tip top. Staff was nice but we had a lot of confusion because we did not speak Japanese. Things like the shuttle bus and baggage delivery service options and the breakfast were hard for novice Americans to navigate. For a Japanese speaker, I think it would be very very nice."

"Absolutely beautiful property in a great location would definitely stay again. Though, we just felt organisation was lacking, informed them of my coeliac disease which they clarified over messages, but then on check in was asked again did we have any food allergies as if nothing had actually been recorded against our booking. And then on the morning of check out we went out for a walk, staff asked us our room number and if they could clean it and we informed them we were checking out that morning and had booked the shuttle bus. We clearly weren’t checking out right then as we didn’t have our bags or anything and the shuttle bus wasn’t for another 2 hours or so but a staff member chased us down outside to inform us that we still had an outstanding balance owing for city taxes as if we were leaving without paying."

"Wish we could have stayed for another night. Staff was incredible, property is fantastic with excellent central location near Gora station. Walked from Suiun to The Hakone Open-Air Museum easily with the best Lawsons along the way. We did not make it to Hakone Gora Park but it was right next door, down the street was a Hakone Tozan Railway stop. Enjoyed a snack and drinks at Gora Brewery and Grill which was right by Suiun as well. The private room onsen was amazing, loved the option for private public onsen, as well as the public onsen. Dinner was incredible, unfortunately we were too full to enjoy breakfast. Amenities were amazing, this included the pillow library, snacks, drinks, ramen, etc. Loved the in room pour over coffee option to include DIY fresh ground beans. Hope to return to Suiun in the future!"
