"The room was fine but the pool had a questionable green hue to it that made me stay away. Some guests did seem to be swimming in it although I felt it probably needed to be closed for cleaning… that was disappointing. Also the breakfast was disappointing but I think I may have been expecting too much there. It was like a few cold muffins and some room temp eggs and sausage, I had hopes for a waffle maker but my partner informed me thats a different style so that one might be on me. It was also just overall very dingy and the walls need a good wiping down. I think I would have been fine with the price had I not been charged a $75 pet fee, I did not realize the pet fee was so high at first which is admittedly my fault. Also smelled TERRIBLY of marijuana but I am sure that is not a problem for most given the location but its clear they make 0 effort to enforce any type og no smoking policy and just allow people to smoke in the rooms as much as they want. Anyways in the future I definitely intend to stay elsewhere but if you don’t have a dog and wanna smoke and need a cheap place it and don’t wanna swim and don’t care about breakfast it might not be the worst choice bc it really wasnt terribly priced outside of the pet fee."

"Overall stay was substandard for a Hyatt place. Breakfast is usually the bright spot but here it was the opposite. Elevator was out so we had to cancel plans for movie and dinner as my wife was unable to navigate 5 floors of stairs comfortably due to a recent surgery and no real accommodations were made for it. Bed was awful as were the pillows. Upon check in they tried surprising me with a parking fee at a non downtown Chicago or Detroit hotel!! This on top of waiting til almost 5 to check in due to staffing and room availability issues."

"Hotel was just okay. Concerns that I had included: They didn't come clean our room and we were there 2 nights. I actually never seen any cleaning staff. When we checked in the cable in the room wasn't working but they did get it fixed immediately. The breakfast left a LOT to be desired!! Not worth mentioning! "
