"We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very accommodating, and made WONDERFUL breakfasts. Some people may prefer elsewhere, as the bathroom is shared, one cannot lock their room door when they are out and about, and parking is limited on the residential street. However, we felt safe and secure, nonetheless, and did not have any issues with the shard bathroom."

"Wonderful location on a quiet street. Walking distance to several good restaurants. The apartment is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Howard is a great host; easy to reach and very responsive. We loved having the garage /driveway to park in so had no worries about parking."

"The Cheerful House is perfectly accommodating, very easy to live in. The bathrooms are well stocked and suited for multiple people to comfortably use. We appreciated the kitchen and the roomy space for us to cook, eat, and clean up. While there is no washing machine, it was not a deal breaker by any means! With public transportation readily accessible we could go anywhere we wanted with ease, whether shopping or going out for sightseeing, the Cheerful House fit the bill nicely. Our host Jerry sent me a link for an event near the ferry building that we attended, and thoroughly enjoyed; we would have never known about the World of Dumplings if he hadn’t sent me the link, unbidden. Bravo Jerry!"
