A pleasant mid-price hotel in Bayswater. The only real problem we had was that the coffee machine didn't work. The staff were very helpful but couldn't solve the issue. The boss had a fiddle with it next day and got it to function again (although he implied it was our fault!) Otherwise, a good stay. Room clean and warm, staff friendly and helpful, plenty of hot water in the shower, breakfast fairly plain and simple but enough of it. Not too far from the Tube (Paddington or Lancaster Gate) Close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park.
The Indian restaurant directly over the road (Flavours of India) is a place we can recommend for an evening meal. Very good food, reasonable prices and welcoming atmosphere.

The overall stay is good if all you want is a hard bed and an ensuite bathroom. By all means, a good place to stay if that’s all you need. I do feel the need to mention the bedsheets and pillows smelled of body odour the whole time we were there despite asking them to change them multiple times. The breakfast is small and crowded, with no warm food (as advertised). It’s not a spectacular stay, but there are things that are inconvenient that makes staying here a little annoying. For example, no visible napkins in the breakfast room, or smelly sheets, or a safe where only the number 9 works, or pipes that go off at 2am, or banging on the walls at 5am, or no face cloths, or no pens to write letters with. The staff were very helpful when they were there, check in was quick, checkout with luggage storage was quick and easy, but the little things really do make this a mediocre place to stay, if that’s what you want.
Breakfast limited and not refilled quickly enough
Staff friendly
Room like a furnace with a fan that didn't work
Window looking at a wall
Very small for a family of 3, no room
Tea bags, milk and coffee not replenished.
Beds very comfortable but too hot to sleep

Location brilliant! Everything else questionable
Location is excellent, close to Paddington and Hyde park. That I can’t fault. Rooms however are very small and stuffy with very small beds. My partner and I had a basement room and the window opened fully though it did little to help. An overpowering bleach smell in the room suggestive of thorough cleaning but the bed was still grubby. Rooms are not sound proof and we were disturbed multiple times in the night. Staff let us drop out bag off in the morning before check in but check out took a little longer than necessary as the man on check in desk was outside having a cigarette and not watching to see if guests were waiting. Did not have breakfast as gluten free options were not clear and there were loads of options close by. Is this hotel worth the price? Probably not, pay and extra £10-20 and stay somewhere else.
Don't go there...I'm not spoiled but the room was just awesome. Had to climb over stairs blocking the door, no help to get my suitcase over the obstacle. Noisy at night and in the morning when staff is really loud. Smell of toilet, window opens only a little bit but drapes have to be closed or the next room can see right in.
Very stuffy air.
Awfull, that's all I can say.

Near to Paddington Station. The Rooms are too tiny, the staff in the Breakfast Room unfriendly, the selection from buffet was the Same every Single day and very poor. The bathroom smelled like hell. The Breakfast Room and the tables too tiny. The Windows had a bad noise cancelling, your Hear every moto, car or voices from outside. Never again. For that Price unacceptable. But May be normal in London.
Små men trivsamma rum.

Broken shower. No manager. Avoid this hotel!
Stayed August 8–10, 2025 — one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Our shower blasted only scalding hot water, making it unusable. The front desk said the manager was “unreachable over the weekend” and nothing could be fixed. We were offered to use a different room’s shower on another floor. Felt like a college dorm!
Our room was on the 5th floor, but the lift only went to the 4th, so we had to drag heavy luggage up stairs. No offer to move us to a functioning room on a proper floor. The only “compensation” was one extra hour for checkout.
After our stay, I emailed the hotel — no response. When I called a few days later, I was told the manager “comes in when he wants,” maybe once a week. That says it all about how this place is run.
Terrible service, broken facilities, and zero accountability. The only good thing about this place is the location, walking distance from two underground stations and Kensington gardens. Spend your money elsewhere.
Easy place to stay for a night or 2. This hotel is your typical England Hotel, small and no AC. I wouldn’t stay longer than a night or 2 but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, staff was super nice. Would 100% stay there again.
