Heater didn't work. Staff very unhelpful. Loud train at night. Good price though.
Awful. The room was a broom cupboard, I found a giant spider crawling out of the fridge, I could hear people having sx upstairs loudly at 2 am and people also coming and smoke just behind my window at late night. It was horrible, I couldn’t sleep much. I’m not coming back again
Tried to charge me extra for paying by card which is now illegal. Had a room in the basement and above is hard floors so you can hear every guest above you. Lots of hairs from previous guests in the bathroom and a tiny room
By mixed feelings, I mean a hotel that is in a quiet but inconvenient location. It may be next to the Piccadilly line but with trains in a cutting, noise would only be an issue for a light sleeper. Own transport is required unless you like walking because the shops are some distance away should you forget anything.
A nice feature in the room was a fridge and in the interests of security, a safe. However, room service is not as might be expected. The single room was tiny with a washbasin in the ensuite having a dodgy plug that once depressed would not release for emptying the water. Also, the washbasin was laughably small.
There is no breakfast included but with a kitchen, self-catering is the norm. The problem here is a microwave that refused to work and an oven that had only one working setting as I learned from another guest. It was when using the somewhat unforthcoming facilities late one night that I found the manager critical and failing to understand the unnecessary difficulties involved. As such, it took a long time to heat the meal I had bought and this contributed to the aforementioned lateness.
The bed, though, was comfortable enough if nothing exceptional.
All in all, a hotel/guesthouse that has reasonable rates but is disappointing in that it could be that much better albeit charging higher rates. That would be perfectly acceptable, but as things stand, it is easy to see why you pay what you do.

Sounds from passing trains and property needs reno
From the back of the house (seems to be a converted house) you can see train tracks and hear the trains go past. Unless you are a sound sleeper, it will disturb you. Room is small but the bed is comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was clean. The wall mounted TV can be viewed from a couple of positions on the bed or standing. Unless you have a car it isn't easy to get to nor are any shops nearby if you need something.
You can see a radiator pulled out in the corridor and wood peeling off in the bathroom, rust on the bathroom lights.
Positives are coffee /tea making facilities, fridge in the room (was very noisy and I switched it off) and a kitchen for guests to use.

En travaux, donc indulgence obligée
L'hôtel est en travaux de peinture excepté dans la chambre qui elle est trés propre mais petite. Le personnel est trés sympathique et serviable. Les travaux terminés il sera parfait.
you don't need the Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, the Goring or London's Mandarin Oriental. Come ye'all to the Bridge House for the real deal. Nature, privacy and some fresh air will do ye'all some good. By far, the creme de la creme of experiencing the real.
The room was smelly damp with mould growing in the bathroom. You had to stand by the window to get wifi.

Nice Cheap Stay but Too Much Fuss
Nice cheap hotel..
Very frustrating to have to go to another hotel around 2 miles away in traffic to pick the key up..
I rang the hotel before I booked to see if it had onsite parking I was told yes and will have no problem parking.. So I booked..
When I arrived all spaces were gone as other guests who seem to be at hotel on Long Stay parked however they wanted... I had to ask another guest to move so I could park.. Luckily they were nice enough to do so..
We stayed for one night as we were meeting friends in nearby Isleworth and flying off out of Heathrow the next morning. Small but cosy and very clean and convenient. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Small and cosy
The Bridge House is just perfect if you come from heathrow and wanna land yourself away from the buzz of central london. it's small, pittoresque, classically decorated and the service of the staff is wonderful. public communications to london c are excellent. A good budget alternative!
We stayed overnight for the rugby. After a delay breaking down on the way the owner could not have been more helpful. He diverted us to closer hotel he owned, arranged for our key to be sent over and walked us to taxi office to ensure we got to our destination. For this customer care alone a would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or the Crompton Guest House. The room had good facilities and wAs clean and tidy, in a quiet location.
