"Only stayed for one night & wish I could have stayed for longer. Staff were lovely, bed super comfy, location is ideal for hikes/cycling - the complimentary bikes is such a wonderful idea. Would love to come back and stay for a lot longer!"

"The whole place was very clean and quiet during our stay. The bed was sooooo comfortable, and we found everything to our liking. The staff went out of their way to cater to our request (vegan) and even provided my partner w/ a candle in his breakfast on his birthday! Very thoughtful! My partner enjoyed a lovely relaxing massage at the spa on his birthday and said the massage therapist was very accommodating to his requests. Our brief interactions w/ other guests were pleasant. The resident cat was a lovely addition too. Overall, it’s a beautiful property run by super kind people and I highly recommend staying there. We’ll be back at some point I’m sure!"
"We planned a hiking trip - Pikes Peak. Location is JUST PERFECT. We hiked just around the property to start our hike from Barr Trailhead. We didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot way early in morning. We didn’t get to use hot tub, so can’t comment on it. It’s an old home but very homely. Kitchen is fully stocked with all essential utensils, dishes, coffee makers. Bosch dishwasher :)! Huge refrigerator! We didn’t check if it is able to make ice or not - perhaps, waterline is not connected! It’s right across from Cograil Depot and small river coming down from the mountain. Porch faces the depot, valley towards Colorado Springs and ridge. Amazing views! Overall, this is a great place for everyone seeking for a weekend get away or weeks of retreat from hustle and bustle! "Great spot right in the middle of town. Rooms are a bit bigger than pictures suggest. Excellent communication from owners. Would definitely stay again "
"Perfect no frills lodging. Love the checkin process. Location is perfect for exploring town or hiking the incline. Get the suite, the rushing creek next to the balcony was divine to sleep to. Perfect for the price"

"We had a great stay. Cool, old, beautiful place with more than plenty of room to spread out. Very clean with comfy beds. Easy parking in the back. Perfect location for exploring Manitou Springs on foot. Lots of stairs (inside and outside) - I stayed on the 3rd floor and got some serious exercise. Warning to the tall people - watch your head on the stairs, through doorways, and around the front parlor chandelier - people were a bit shorter in the late 1800s when they built the place. When we arrived, there was a bit of chaos regarding a burst water line in one of the bathrooms - maintenance arrived within a couple of hours and resolved the issue quickly - good communication with the host. Overall, a fine experience. "

"We came for a wedding… loved this property! Took us back in time with vintage decor. Just a short walk to the shops in Manitou, which was amazing! We’d come back here!"
"Even though we were a little surprised by the mountain road to get to the cottage, it was a great spot. We really liked the closeness to Manitou Incline and the cottage had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. Easy access to the Springs, but at the same time you felt like you were in a remote spot. We had a wonderful stay."
